The team at GoRaise are delighted to welcome national children’s charity Tree of Hope to the GoRaise community. They are an amazing cause and we wanted to tell our readers about a fun campaign that they’ve just launched.

Dog walking brunch, curry night or burger and board games? What will you host?

Tree of Hope recently launched their most ambitious fundraiser yet, Dine and Donate. A new campaign to bring people together, raise money and support hundreds of seriously ill and disabled children in the UK.

Dine and Donate runs right through Spring, from March 1^st to May 31^st and invites supporters to host their own event – the quirkier the better!

So far, the campaign has attracted an array of supporters and hosts including eateries, businesses and individuals. MasterChef quarterfinalists have hosted banquet style meals, one M&S store have held a traditional Indian feast for 45 staff, there have been prosecco afternoon teas, cocktails and canape party’s, ready steady cook lunches plus so much more. The ideas are endless, and so is the fun.

Tree of Hope has been empowering families for over 25 years to obtain the specialist treatment, therapy or equipment for their disabled or seriously ill child, that would otherwise be unavailable them. The charity is currently supporting over 800 families, but with over 800,000 disabled children living in the UK, need your help to reach more children and their families, and help transform their lives.

“Tree of Hope has helped make my family’s dream become possible” – Mother of Ella who raised £12,000 for a pioneering piece of a equipment that enables Ella to stand unassisted, improve respiration and participate more in family life.
