Organised by runners for runners, this annual event now in its 36th year continues to be a favourite on the local running scene. It is the “small town race with the big event feel”. Whether you are preparing for a spring marathon or taking on your own challenge of a half marathon, this is the race not to miss. A modification to the last 2 miles of the route for 2017, makes this a flatter and therefore faster course – great PB potential. We welcome runners of all abilities (subject to the 3 hour cut off time) – club runners, charity runners and first timers. Great medal and goody bag to all finishers. Over 300 volunteers involved in the day with happy supportive marshals and supporters all round the route. Pace-makers for 1:30, 1:45, 2.00 and 2.15. Hosted by local running club Fleet & Crookham AC – why now go down to the club to train for the event too? No increase in entry fee for 2017 – just £21 for affiliated runners and £23 for unattached.
