The Hemel 10K and 1.5K Superhero Fun Run returns to Astley Cooper School, Hemel Hempstead on Sunday 9 July 2017, raising funds for Rennie Grove Hospice Care. The charity’s popular multi terrain 10K offers a challenging route through the surrounding countryside and begins at 10.30am. It is open to anyone aged 12+ (12-18 year olds must have consent from a parent or guardian and must be accompanied by an adult on the course) and costs £20 to enter, which includes chip timing, a t-shirt, water at stations along the route and a medal on finishing the race. The 1.5K run calls for all Superheroes to unite and gather at the start line at 10.00am. This race is open to all ages (a parent or guardian must be present on site). Superheroes are encouraged to wear their heroic disguises as the best dressed runner will be awarded with a prize! It costs £5 to enter (under 5s go free) and all participants will be given a medal as they are cheered to the finish line.
