Lichfield 10K Road Race

10K Road Race A very popular and well organised race with GOLD grading. Organised and marshalled by runners especially for runners of all abilities. Single lap undulating course mainly on quiet country lanes. Good chance for a PB, but watch out for the hills at 4 and 6 Km. Chip timing used and an accurate measured course with good km markers. Clocks on the lead car, finish and half way points. Men’s course record stands at 30 min 16 sec and the women’s at 36 min 11 sec. A £100 prize for setting a new course record. Total prize fund of £1000. All finishers get a quality technical tshirt and special commemorative medal. Drink station at half way and water & banana at the finish. Results are posted on the internet within hours of the race finishing, but if you give your mobile number on the entry form you will receive a free text with your results immediately after the race. Free photos also available on line. Free post-race massage provided by Atlas Pain Relief. The race limit of 1200 is expected to be reached before race day, so please enter early. All entries are on-line and no entries will be accepted on race day. 2k fun run A great run for the whole family. No age limit and last year we had participants from 6 months to over 80 years Single lap course on a mainly traffic free route, well marshalled all the way round. A drink and banana to all the finishers. A medal will be given to all finishers This is a fun run and not an official race so the course is not measured and we do not record the times or finishing positions. There is a clock at the finish to take your own time and you will be given a raffle ticket to give your finish position. All children under 9 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
