The Cumbria Way Ultra is a 73 mile trail ultra race on 16th – 17th September 2017 – 73 miles with over 10,000 feet of ascent following the iconic trail through the beautiful Lake District. The event starts at 6am in Ulverston and passes through Coniston, Langdale, Keswick and Caldbeck, finishing at the beautiful Carlisle Castle, taking in the varied terrain and stunning views of the Lakes. The event is open to solo runners and teams of 2 and 5, running in a relay. For teams of 2 the relay legs are 43 miles and 30 miles, for teams of 5 the relay legs are, 15, 13, 15, 15, 15 miles. The Cumbria Way Ultra is a qualifying race for the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® giving 3 points/5 new points for Solo runners.
