How do I start raising for a cause?

If you want to get raising each time you shop online then you can simply head here to search for the cause you’d like to support. Click on the Cause name and then register by entering your name, email address and a password.

What if the cause I want to support isn't on your system?

You can see all current causes on this page. If you can’t see the cause you wish to raise for in our current list then you can add it yourself. You can set up a new cause here. You can set up the new cause and fill out all the details yourself. If you work for the cause, or it is a local interest such as your child’s swimming club, then this is the best option. Nearly all of the large charities are already registered, but if you can’t find what you’re looking for, simply register a few details.

How do I get the donation reminder for my browser?

You can find the link to our free browser plugin/extension below. Then, each time you visit an online store who will make a donation through GoRaise you will receive a quick reminder. Click here to get our donation reminder. Just follow the instructions to install. It’s quick, safe and easy to do. Currently the plugin is available for the desktop versions of Chrome and Firefox.

How do I raise for a cause which is not yet registered?

If you can’t see the cause you wish to raise for then the solution is simple. If you want to start raising for a large charity who is not yet using GoRaise then just fill out a few details and we will contact them to finish the setup. If you want to start raising for a local interest group, like your child’s swimming club or a local brownie or scout group then you can set up the cause today and fill out all the details yourself. Whoever you want to raise for, if you can’t find them on this page here, then head over to our register a cause page and set up today, if you have any trouble then you can get in touch with a member of the GoRaise team here.

How do we set up our cause/community group/charity on GoRaise?

Simple. Head straight to this page, fill out the info and set yourself up as the administrator for your cause.

How do we set up payment?

We pay causes quarterly and challengers monthly. Head to your cause account page to make sure you have set up all the details we will need in order to pay your cause.  If you aren’t sure how to do this, give us a call on 0191 580 1169, contact us using our Live Chat feature (Click on the blue circle in the bottom right of your screen), or use the contact form to get in touch and we can walk you through it.

How do I set up a profile for my marathon, fun run, or other fundraising challenge?

In order to set up a GoRaise profile for your charity challenge you will need to click here to register. Once registered, you will have your own GoRaise page to direct your supporters (friends, family etc.) towards so they can register and raise donations for your challenge when they shop online.

How do I register to support a friend who is doing a charity challenge?

You will simply need to head here and search for your friend’s challenge, click on their challenge name and create your GoRaise account by entering your name, email address and a password.  This will set your friend’s challenge as your supported cause so you’ll generate donations for them any time you shop online.

How do we start raising money as a business?

You can go here to set up a business account and then pick a cause for your team to support. Once this is done, your employees set up their own accounts as supporters of the business.

How do I change the cause my business supports?

You can change your supported cause as often as you like via the ‘settings’ tab under your company account page.  Please get in touch with us if you aren’t sure how to reach this and we’d be happy to help.  You can call us on 0191 580 1169, use our Live Chat feature (Click on the blue circle in the bottom right of your screen), or use our contact form.

How do my employees get involved?

They simply need to search here for your company, select your company as their chosen cause to support and register using their name, email address and a password.

How do I share my challenge with friends?

We provide a great set of tools for fundraisers to help you spread the word with friends and family. In here you will find emails, social media posts, website content and personalised videos ready made for you to use to promote your challenge. How do I share our cause with our supporters?

We provide a great set of tools for causes to use to help you spread the word with your supporters. You will find emails, social media posts, website posts, personalised videos and more, ready made and personalised to your cause. Log in and click here to see your personalised marketing tools.

How do I let my employees know we are using GoRaise as a company?

We provide a great set of tools for businesses to use to help you inform your employees and invite them to join you on GoRaise. You will find emails, social media posts, website content, personalised videos and more, ready made and personalised to your company. Log in and click here to see your business marketing tools.

How can I get others involved?

If you’re already registered with GoRaise, then you’ll have access to your marketing tools section anytime you are logged in. This includes pre-made and customised emails, social media content, personalised videos and much more to promote your cause.

When will my cause get paid?

Challengers are paid at the start of every month and Causes are paid at the start of every quarter. This is if the minimum threshold has been reached, which is £2 in confirmed donations for Challengers and £15 in confirmed donations for Causes.
