The key to any successful fundraising campaign is to have as many people as you can supporting your cause. That’s no different with GoRaise. The following guide will walk you through how to generate excitement and get supporters on board.

Using the Marketing Tools

When logged into the GoRaise site, you will see a section at the top of your screen called ‘Ways to Raise’

Once you click on ‘Ways to Raise’ you’ll have the option to select ‘Marketing Tools’ from the drop down menu

 

You’ll then land on this page:

 

This page is full of resources to help you introduce GoRaise to your friends and family and to direct them to your GoRaise page to help them support your cause.

Email Templates

If you click on ‘Emails’ you will be taken to a page where you can find templates designed to get individual supporters and business supporters involved.  We’ve even got a template solely to encourage people that travel a lot to support your cause via GoRaise when they book travel and accommodation.

We have created an email for you that you can use to encourage businesses to support your cause (in this example I am using Rugeley Cricket Club as my cause).

Simply click ‘copy text’ and paste it into an email.  Send these emails to your supporters and watch your donations increase, it’s that simple.

Website Content

If you have a website that you would like to feature GoRaise on and link people to your page, we have created some web copy for you to use.

If you click on ‘Website Content’ and you will see the following page:

 

Click on ‘GoRaise introduction’ to expand this section so you can see the template web copy.  From this view you can click ‘Copy Text’ so it’s easy for you to paste into your site.

 

Facebook and Twitter

If you find that communicating with your friends and family is easiest on social media, there are a list of Facebook posts and tweets that you can use.

Simply click on ‘Get Social’ and you’ll reach this page:

 

There are a number of facebook posts and tweets created for you, just click on the ‘preview’ next to each post or copy and paste the text directly to your social media profiles.
