FUNDRAISE LTD is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09381335, whose registered office is at 62 Stakes Road, Purbrook, Waterlooville, Hampshire, England, PO7 5NT which operates www.goraise.co.uk (the ‘Site’) (hereinafter referred to as ‘GoRaise‘ or ‘We‘).
In this Statement, references to ‘You‘ and ‘Your‘ shall mean the GoRaise Supporter, the GoRaise Cause Representative or the GoRaise Visitor using the Site. We have created this privacy statement (‘Statement’) in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to the privacy of the details that You provide to us when using the Site to access the GoRaise Services. Unless otherwise indicated, all definitions used in the GoRaise Terms shall apply to this Statement and for the purposes of this Statement, ‘Personal Data’ shall include financial data. When You use the Site, You are consenting to the practices set forth in this Statement and You expressly agree to be bound by these terms herein.

WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED & HOW?

Personal Data
Upon registration as a GoRaise Supporter or a GoRaise Cause, You will be asked to provide various types of Personal Data to enhance the quality of the GoRaise Services We can provide to You and the more accurate the information You provide, the better We are able to respond to Your requirements!As part of the process of using the Site and becoming a registered GoRaise Supporter or a GoRaise Cause, We may collect the following types of Personal Data about You (as applicable):
As a GoRaise Supporter:
- Your name , email address and password (mandatory);
- Your Twitter handle, Facebook profile, address and postcode (optional);
- use of the GoRaise Extension;
- information collected through the use of cookies and similar technologies as per our Cookies Policy;
- information in relation to the GoRaise Retailer Sites You visit and the Qualifying Purchases that You make;
- information regarding the Donations You make to GoRaise Causes.
As a GoRaise Cause:
- Your description and Your Twitter handle (mandatory); and,
- Your logo, address with postcode and Facebook page.
As either a GoRaise Supporter or a GoRaise Cause:
- visits to, and use of the Site;
- the content that You download;
- any other information that You choose to send to us, including any request for further Services, general correspondence, reports of a problem with the Site or the GoRaise Services.

Other Data
De-personalised data which does not record Personal Data as such, rather information such as the date of Your use of the Site, the path taken, the browser used, the IP address, referral source, length of visit, page views and Site navigation etc is used primarily to aid the technical administration of the Site and associated GoRaise Services, to better understand how they are functioning for You and to draw conclusions upon demographic information.

GoRaise Cause: Where You are a GoRaise Cause and You request Your Donations to be paid to You by BACS, You shall be required to provide us with Your banking details (i.e. Your sort code and account number) in order to enable us to remit payment. Where You will receive Donations by cheque, We will require Your account name and address.

GoRaise Supporter: Where You are a GoRaise Supporter and You request CashBack to be paid by BACS, You shall be required to provide us with Your banking details (i.e. Your sort code and account number) in order to enable us to remit payment. Where this is by cheque, We will require Your account name and address.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

You hereby expressly consent to Your Personal Data being passed on to third party companies who act as our service providers (‘Raise Service Providers’) for the sole purpose of fulfilling the daily business and operational functions pertaining to the GoRaise Services only (including making improvements) and not for the purposes of those third parties making marketing communications to You. Although You are under no obligation to provide such Personal Data to us, if You choose not to, some of the GoRaise Services may not be available to You.

Sharing of Your Personal Data with GoRaise Causes or other affiliated parties.
We share Your Personal Data with the Your GoRaise Cause for whom You have GoRaised Donations for so that they can receive the Donations, analyse donor behaviour, provide a better service and support to donors, and for any other purpose described in their privacy policy (including marketing). In a similar way, We may share Your Personal Data with the organiser of e.g. a prize draw or competition that We may facilitate from time to time as per any Additional Terms and the organiser’s own privacy terms as the case may be. You should read those policies to learn how they treat your information. We refer to these parties as our ‘GoRaise Partners‘.

Gift Aid Declaration.
We will share Your Gift Aid Declaration and email address with Your GoRaise Cause where they have requested it in order to claim Gift Aid. The GoRaise Cause may pass this information to HMRC.

Transfer of Personal Data in the Event of the Sale of Fundraise Ltd or its Assets including www.raise.co.uk
In the event that there is a sale or transfer of some of its assets to another party, Your Personal Data could be one of the transferred assets. If Your Personal Data is transferred, its use will remain subject to this Statement. Your Personal Data will be passed on to a successor in interest in the event of a liquidation or administration. We will take reasonable steps to ensure the security and confidentiality of that information.

GoRaise tries to be as open as it can be in terms of giving people access to their Personal Data. Individuals can find out if We hold any Personal Data by making a ‘subject access request’ under the Data Protection Act 1998. If We do hold Personal Data about You, We will let You have a copy of that Personal Data. To make a request to GoRaise for any Personal Data that We may hold, You need to put the request in writing (along with certain ID requirements) addressing it to the address provided below. There may be an administrative charge applied in accordance with the applicable legislation and We have up to forty (40) days to repond.
